How To Measure A Box |
|
|
- Inside dimensions are always used in box measurement.
- Dimensions are always given in sequence of length, width and depth (height).
- Length is always the larger of the two dimensions of the open face of a box as it is set up for filling.
- Width is the smaller dimension of the open face.
- Depth is from top to bottom of a box set up for filling.
- End opening boxes are measured as if they were top opening.
- Tubes and folders with three dimensions are measured in the same way as boxes; with length being the larger of the two dimensions of the open face and width the smaller.
